Heck yeah! I've got it bad too.... I keep thinking it's just a phase, and that I'll get back into the music I used to love ("maybe today I'll fire up the White Stripes or Zep when I go for a run later", but somehow the lure of the Grateful Dead pulls me back, day after day. Individual lyrics/sections of songs rotate into the consciousness for various periods of time. "Julie catch a rabbit by his hair" stuck with me for weeks. I even found my brain singing the "Felina Goodbye" snippet the other day. My Brother Esau is on endless loop in the back recesses of my brain - kind of a base soundtrack for my life. These are all signs of heavy addiction, but like my caffeine addiction, it's one I enjoy having.

Elb put it best in a recent post - it's the unending variation that keeps the music an enduring interest.
